Cammell Laird plans to export polar expertise

The £150 million contract to build the 'Sir David Attenborough' polar research vessel has opened up a new global market for the yard

British shipyard and engineering company Cammell Laird says it plans to unleash an ‘aggressive exports drive’ in 2017 after one of its busiest years for commercial marine work, including securing the biggest shipbuilding project in the UK for a generation.
