CII 'poor fit' to cut emissions from cruise ships

While the European Union’s Fit for 55 programme will put pressure on passenger ships of all kinds to switch to either emission free fuels or shore power while in port, the IMO’s Carbon Intensity Index represents a nearer term challenge for cruise ships.
