Erma First’s AMP solution recognised as Energy Saving Device

DNV has confirmed that Erma First’s alternative maritime power (AMP) system, BLUE CONNECT, meets the requirements to be categorised as an ‘energy-saving device’ (ESD).

In the same document, DNV recognises the solution’s ability to improve a vessel’s Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) ratings in line with regulations set out by the IMO.
