Goltens joins Orcan Energy in waste heat to clean electricity push

Goltens Worldwide has entered into a strategic partnership with Munich-based cleantech company Orcan Energy AG, becoming a preferred and authorised engineering and installation partner for Orcan’s Marine Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems.

The agreement positions Goltens to deliver international engineering, project management, installation, and commissioning support for Orcan’s modular ORC technology, which captures low-temperature waste heat from vessel engines and converts it into clean electrical power. The collaboration is expected to help shipowners and operators achieve compliance with EEXI, CII, and FuelEU Maritime regulations through enhanced fuel efficiency and reduced CO₂ emissions.
