HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore have teamed up on the development of a real-time onboard guidance system designed to prevent excessive rolling on container ships

Under the agreement, HHI’s real-time onboard guidance system will be evaluated against Bureau Veritas classification requirements and relevant international regulations. The project will assess the system’s ability to monitor a vessel’s dynamic stability in real time and provide guidance to crews to reduce the risk of dangerous rolling motions.
