Wärtsilä has unveiled its groundbreaking carbon capture solution as a commercially available product for the global maritime industry

The company claims the system can reduce CO₂ emissions from vessels by up to 70%, marking a significant milestone in the journey toward net-zero shipping.

The launch follows successful testing onboard Solvang’s Clipper Eris, a 21,000 m³ ethylene carrier equipped with Wärtsilä’s full-scale CCS system.
