The first MAN B&W ME-GIE passed type approval testing at Mitsui Engineering in Japan under observation by class society DNV GL

MAN Diesel & Turbo’s first G50 ethane-fuelled two stroke engine, destined for a 36,000m3 liquified ethane gas (LEG) carrier under construction for Hartmann Reederei, has passed type approval tests.
