Ferry company favours Cammell Laird

Western Ferries currently operates two 1960s German-built ex-Amsterdam ferries as well as two newer opurpose-built ships from Ferguson Shipbuilders

Merseyside, UK, yard Cammell Laird looks likely to return to shipbuilding following the announcement that Western Ferries has appointed the company as its preferred bidder to build two new vessels.
