A new at-sea trial is set to test whether ships can move beyond cutting their own emissions to actively removing greenhouse gases from the atmosphere during normal operations, marking a potential shift in maritime decarbonisation strategies

Climate technology firm Bennu Climate has partnered with maritime innovation venture catalyst lomarlabs to deploy a methane removal system aboard a Supramax bulk carrier owned by Lomar.
