ExxonMobil launches LNG bunkering

ExxonMobil has entered the liquefied natural gas marine bunkering market with the launch of two LNG bunker vessels as part of its broader effort to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions

The move expands the company’s marine fuel portfolio with lower-emission alternatives, including LNG and bio-LNG.

The company will debut its first bunker vessel, chartered from Avenir LNG, in early 2027. A second vessel, from Evalend Shipping, is expected by late 2027.
