Paris MoU plans CIC on cargo securing

Alongside the CIC on cargo securing, the Paris MoU committee also announced plans that are expected to result in the introduction of inspection of foreign fishing vessels by 2024.

The Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control (Paris MoU) held its 55th Committee meeting in Bucharest, Romania, last week and added cargo securing to its list of upcoming Concentrated Inspection Campaigns (CIC).
