Science-based benchmarking tool developed

A new tool is intended to allow companies within or using the shipping sector to benchmark their activities against a 1.5°C target.

The Science Based Target Initiative, a partnership between Carbon Disclosure Project, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute and the World Wide Fund, has launched a science-based target tool (SBTi) maritime tool for shipping.
