The keynote session for Propulsion & Future Fuels, in association with DNV GL, will offer an emissions outlook to delegates and features big names in the commercial shipping community.

Harry Conway, the Vice Chairman of the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) of the IMO will provide the first keynote, and will be followed by Thomas Knudsen, Senior Vice President – Head of Low Speed Division at MAN Energy Solutions.

Mr. Conway is a PhD Researcher in the Department of Law and Politics at Cardiff University and his research interest centres on the UNFCCC Paris Agreement. Harry Conway currently serves as Alternate Permanent Representative of Liberia to IMO and Attaché, Maritime Affairs, Embassy of Liberia, United Kingdom. Prior to this he served as Chief of Staff to the Commissioner & CEO, Liberia Maritime Authority (LiMA); and Secretary to the Board of Directors, LiMA.

Thomas Knudsen takes his leading role at recently renamed MAN Energy Solutions, a company which is aiming to generate more than half of its business from sustainable technologies by 2030.
