Hurtigruten hybrids to hit emissions targets

Vessel monitoring enabled Rolls-Royce to plan emission-optimised propulsion conversions for six Hurtigruten cruise ferries

Six vessels to be converted to LNG-battery propulsion are expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 35% compared to vessels currently plying Hurtigruten’s Norwegian coastal route.
