Hybrid surface effect ship classed by BV

The Hybrid SES crew transfer vessel was developed in partnership with ESNA, a ship design company based in Kristiansand, Norway.

Classification society Bureau Veritas (BV) has classified a hybrid-powered Surface Effect Ship (SES), the CWind Pioneer. The 24 passenger vessel features an air cushion, twin hulls and an innovative diesel and electric drivetrain with considerable battery storage onboard.
