Green fuel potential along the Suez Canal

Talks have taken place to discuss the potential of green hydrogen projects along the Suez Canal. During a roadshow tour to the Netherlands, the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) delegation led by chairman Waleid Gamal El-Dien, met with Shell officials, to discuss the nine framework agreements with major global consortia for green fuel production and bunkering services.

“SCZONE is keen to support AP Moller Maersk’s efforts, as a successful partner, by enhancing the infrastructure capabilities to automate services at the terminal and the provision of transit services to export various goods from neighbouring countries, especially those coming from Southeast Asian countries and China,” said Mr Gamal El-Dien.
