Alternative fuels demands urgent crew upskilling

Stream Marine Training (SMT) is urging faster crew training alignment with alternative shipping fuels, citing regulatory gaps as the industry advances toward IMO 2050 targets. 

SMT warns that crew training is lagging behind the rapid uptake of alternative shipping fuels, that’s according to recent shipping sector data and DNV figures.
