MOL launches DP training centre

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines has launched a new Dynamic Positioning Training Center in Mariveles, Bataan, through a collaboration between MOL Maritex Co., the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific and the Magsaysay Training Center

A memorandum of agreement was signed on 29 July 2025, with the first training course set to begin on 1 September 2025.

The facility features a DP simulator identical to those used aboard MOL’s specialised vessels, allowing trainees to gain experience in a realistic operational environment.
