ITOCHU advances clean ammonia bunkering with world-first vessel project in Singapore

ITOCHU Corporation has signed key contracts to advance the development of the world’s first ammonia bunkering vessel, scheduled for delivery in September 2027 under the Singapore Registry.

The agreements were executed through Clean Ammonia Bunkering Shipping (CABS), a wholly owned special purpose vehicle based in Singapore. In parallel, CABS has secured partial financing for the vessel through a loan agreement with The Hiroshima Bank
