BWT systems face quality assurance risk

Tanker orders ticking over
Bergen-based Viken Shipping has ordered five 105,000 dwt shuttle tankers from Samsung for delivery from the second half of 2012 onward. With the receipt of this order, Samsung said the yard’s orders for 2010 have already reached $6 bill.

Stolt orders bitumen tankers
Stolt-Nielsen S.A. in Norway announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Stolt Bitumen Services (SBS) signed an agreement with Nanjing East Star Shipbuilding in China for the construction of up to four 3,500 dwt bitumen tankers.
