Join the industry at the 2018 Propulsion & Future Fuels, attended by over 200 marine professionals, including shipowners and operators, engine manufacturers, classification societies, technology providers and fuel suppliers.
The conference brings together the whole shipping community and is a platform for the exchange of information on the latest future fuel mix and predictions of future trends. With key emissions targets set in 2020 and 2050, there has never been a better time to learn from the experts who are surging towards significant reductions in carbon emissions.
This year’s conference concentrates on ‘Powering shipping’s emissions-cutting ambitions’, addressing the ways in which practical and technical developments in the fields of propulsion technology and alternative fuels are offering more solutions than ever to the shipping industry.
Propulsion & Future Fuels kicks off on Wednesday 14 November 2018, with a Keynote address from the IMO, MAN Energy Solutions and a shipowner panel focusing on the future fleet. Day one culminates with a pre-dinner drinks reception and the conference dinner, both of which offer unparalleled opportunities to connect with fellow delegates.
After a second day of presentations in plenary sessions and parallel streams, the conference will end with a technical visit on board a Scandlines hybrid ferry on Friday 16 November.
Delegate places include two days of conference, access to the conference dinner and pre-dinner drinks, full documentation in printed format and a place at the technical visit on board a Scandlines hybrid vessel where delegates will learn about their zero emissions project.
