LNG carrier order for Mitsubishi

A hybrid steam turbine and gas engine propulsion system will drive fuel efficiencies onboard the two new carriers

Two LNG carriers for delivery to Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line) will feature a new design that increases both cargo capacity and fuel efficiency. The next generation Sayaringo STaGE carriers, will be built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for delivery in 2018.
