Chevron, TotalEnergies and Seapeak join methane emission reduction initiative

TotalEnergies and Chevron, along with the shipowner and operator Seapeak, have joined an initiative to tackle methane slip from ships, the Methane Abatement in Maritime Innovation Initiative (MAMII).

At the same time, MAMII announced that it has commissioned feasibility studies from four organisations on specific technologies needed to reduce methane emissions. The organisation plans to provide more details about the technology projects shortly.
