First LNG bunkering for pure-gas inland Chinese vessels

China National Offshore Oil Company (CNOOC) began commercial LNG bunkering operations at Macun port in Hainan on 20 November.

China State Shipbuilding Corporation announced that it had completed the first liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering for two pure-gas vessels operating in the Pearl River, in a further demonstration of the expansion of China’s LNG bunkering network.
