First renewable LNG bunker project set to proceed in Oman

The world’s first large scale renewables-based green LNG project is set to proceed following the expected appointment of Technip Energies as the EPC contractor in early 2024. The project is expected to create the world’s first supply of green LNG for bunkering, with production of low-emission LNG expected to begin in 2027, eventually ramping up to 1m tonnes per year.
