MAN ES wins ME-LGIP order for Petredec VLGC newbuildings

Three LPG carrier newbuildings will be powered by MAN B&W 6G60ME- LGIP engines, offering lower GHG emissions compared with Petredec's previous generation of 84,000 cbm VLGCs (pictured).

Singapore-based shipowner Petredec Holdings (Eastern) has signed a contract for the construction of three LPG-powered 93,000 cbm LPG carriers at Jiangnan Shipyard, The vessels will be powered by MAN B&W 6G60ME-LGIP dual-fuel engines, capable of running on LPG, MAN Energy Solutions confirmed.
