Yang Ming expands methanol ready fleet with three 8,000 TEU containerships

Yang Ming has confirmed an order for three additional 8,000 TEU methanol dual-fuel-ready containerships from Japan’s Nihon Shipyard and Imabari Shipbuilding Co.

This latest order follows the company’s March acquisition of three similar vessels, bringing the total number of methanol dual-fuel-ready ships in Yang Ming’s fleet to six, all of which are scheduled for delivery between 2028 and 2030
