Fincantieri and iGenius team up on AI

Fincantieri has brought on board Italian tech firm, iGenius, to develop AI systems for use in the shipbuilding sector

The collaboration will combine iGenius’s AI expertise with Fincantieri’s systems integrator knowledge in all sectors of the shipbuilding industry and will focus on both the civil and defence sectors, beginning with analysis of data from Fincantieri’s Omega 360 radar.

The partnership is part of Fincantieri’s wider plans to use technology to improve the performance, safety and efficiency of its products and processes.
