GasLog reaches smart maintenance milestone

GasLog has become the first commercial vessel operator to receive the SMART (MHM) notation in combination with the ABS Preventative Maintenance Program, marking a significant milestone in the adoption of predictive maintenance technologies for LNG carriers

Awarded by ABS, the notation confirms that the GasLog vessel is equipped with a permanently installed machinery health monitoring (MHM) system capable of continuously assessing onboard machinery, detecting anomalies and identifying potential failures before they occur.
