A strategic alliance between Icon Gulf Trading DMCC, a Dynamic Group company, and GeoServe Energy Transport DMCC has successfully delivered 12 bulk shipments of bauxite from Guinea over the past 12 months—totaling approximately 2 million tonnes.
Under the terms of the partnership, GeoServe was appointed to oversee end-to-end shipping operations through its Commercial Voyage Management as a Service (CVMaaS) platform. The comprehensive solution covers all aspects of voyage management, including chartering, execution, laytime analysis, port disbursements, compliance, and reporting.
The collaboration has introduced a new level of operational discipline and transparency to Icon Gulf Trading’s shipping operations. According to the company, the integration of GeoServe’s CVMaaS platform has significantly enhanced efficiency across the bauxite supply chain, enabling the company to better meet global customer demand.

“Appointed as our shipping extended arm, GeoServe has introduced a layer of operational transparency and professionalism that is essential in today’s complex maritime environment,” said Rajesh Sawana, deputy general manager at Icon Gulf Trading. “The journey has just begun, as Icon Gulf intends to ramp up exports to 10–12 million tonnes per annum over the next two years, utilizing over 55 Capesize and Newcastlemax vessels annually.”
GeoServe’s CVMaaS offering is a turnkey voyage management solution, combining industry expertise, streamlined processes, and digital tools into a cohesive operational ecosystem. The approach enables charterers and commodity traders to maintain strategic focus while delegating complex shipping workflows.
“We are proud of what we have accomplished together over the past year,” said Alok Srivastava, head of shipping at GeoServe. “Despite market volatility, our commitment to reliability, compliance, and sustainability has remained firm. This collaboration demonstrates the real-world impact of a streamlined, scalable voyage management model.”
As the partnership enters its second year, Icon Gulf and GeoServe aim to expand their joint capabilities, offering forward-thinking solutions tailored to the fast-evolving dynamics of global dry bulk trade.
