More LM2500s for US Navy LCS

Austal’s Independence class trimaran LCS, powered by an LM2500-based CODOG plant

GE Marine’s Evendale, Ohio, facility is currently busy building four LM2500 aero-derivative gas turbines for delivery to Austal USA. The engines will power the next two Independence class Littoral Combat Ships (LCS), the 14th and 16th LCS vessels.
