100 Units Delivered, Advancing Together | IRON Pump Scrubber Pumps in Mass Deployment Supporting Efficient Operations and Green Emissions for Hengli Group Bulk Carriers

Recently, IRON Pump was invited as a strategic partner to conduct an official business visit to Hengli Heavy Industry in Dalian, China. This in-depth exchange injected new momentum into the collaboration between both parties. Previously, we successfully delivered 100 marine scrubber pumps to Hengli Heavy Industry.
These units are installed on newly built 82,000 DWT bulk carriers, providing essential support for the vessels’ environmentally friendly operations. This delivery marks a key milestone in our deepening partnership and further highlights our recognition in the maritime sustainable technology market.

Smooth Collaboration, Moving Forward Together
Hengli Heavy Industry’s demand for batch construction of this type of bulk carrier laid a solid foundation for our large-scale delivery of scrubber pumps. The 100 scrubber pumps delivered are specifically designed for three 82,000 DWT bulk carriers, tailored for transporting bulk commodities such as grain, coal, and iron ore.
The vessels are named “ITHAKI I,” “ELATOS,” and “PUNTA DEL CHILENO.” Among them, “ITHAKI I” was the first to begin construction and was delivered 24 days ahead of schedule on the day of its naming ceremony. The other two vessels are currently in the commissioning phase, making final preparations for sea trials and delivery
Environmental Protection and Reliability Combined
From a technical perspective, IRON Pump’s scrubber pumps effectively reduce pollutant emissions and ensure safe, efficient desulfurization, meeting the International Maritime Organization (IMO) sulfur emission standards.
Leveraging our mature centrifugal pump technology, the pumps support heavy-duty continuous operation, are easy to maintain, and are highly compatible with the operational needs of modern vessels.
In this collaboration, the 100 scrubber pumps delivered by IRON Pump will continue to play a critical role in the commissioning, sea trials, and delivery of Hengli Heavy Industry’s upcoming vessels.
This business visit also helped both parties reaffirm their alignment on technical standards and other cooperation aspects. Looking ahead, IRON Pump and Hengli Heavy Industry will continue to deepen their collaboration in maritime environmental protection equipment, jointly contributing to the green development of international shipping.
