Support from commercial operators FinFerries and ESL Shipping will enable further progress as the Rolls-Royce led autonomy project enters the next stage

With plans to build a remote-controlled coastal demonstrator ship by 2018, Rolls-Royce and partners in the Advanced Autonomous Waterborne Applications project are confident that such vessels are no longer a distant possibility.
