It’s less than a week until the leading Propulsion and Future Fuels conference takes to the stage at the Empire Riverside Hotel in Hamburg, Germany.

Programme 2025

The packed programme for the two-day conference includes sessions on:

  • The Ammonia Debate
  • Hydrogen and Fuel Cells, Unlocking Decarbonisation Potential.
  • Next Generation LNG: Bio-Methane and E-Methane.
  • Navigating Methanol: Findings and Fixes.
  • Harnessing the Power of Wind
  • Onboard Carbon Capture: Feasibility of storing emissions onboard?
  • Retrofit: Forward thinking solutions to enable vessels to transition into new fuels.
  • Biofuels: Credible Path or short-term fix?

An intriguing new session will look at at a fuel which is fast emerging from the maritime shadows, nuclear power. Jez Sims, Principle Nuclear Authority - Marine and Offshore, Lloyd’s Register will address the question, “Is a standardised, modular nuclear power model, with harmonised regulation and fleet integration frameworks, a viable path to scalable, zero-emission shipping?”

The Conference also features the popular Motorship Award which honours innovative low emissions vessels partnerships. The four shortlisted entrants will present their projects at the Conference, and the overall winner will be decided by a delegate vote.

In addition to the vast array of learning opportunities delegates will also be able to relax and network with colleagues and new business contacts at the conference dinner, this year being held at BLOCKBRÄU, Hamburg’s iconic waterfront brewery.

Last minute delegate places are still available. BOOK now
