Jotun has inked a deal with BW LPG, the world’s largest owner and operator of LPG vessels, to optimise hull performance across 38 ships from 2025 to 2028

The contract, announced at Nor-Shipping in Norway, builds on the successful implementation of Jotun’s hull performance solutions on 17 BW LPG vessels since 2020.

BW Aries, the first vessel treated with Jotun’s HPS, showed no measurable speed loss over 56 months, achieving fuel savings of 3 to 5% and far exceeding performance guarantees.
