MAN’s most powerful two-stroke methanol engine

MAN Energy Solutions said it will deliver its most powerful two-stroke methanol engine in June 2025, marking another step forward in the alternative fuels propulsion sector.

The 82,440 kW MAN B&W 12G95ME-C10.5-LGIM methanol engine, currently under construction by Chinese licensee CMD, is the first of 12 dual-fuel units destined for 24,000 teu container ships being built for OOCL and COSCO Shipping Lines.
