U-Ming Marine Transport Corporation and Anemoi Marine Technologies have successfully completed the installation of four Rotor Sails on a very large ore carrier

This landmark installation on board 325,000 DWT Grand Pioneer makes U-Ming the first Taiwanese shipowner to adopt Rotor Sail technology.

The folding Rotor Sails, each 35 metres tall and 5 metres in diameter, were delivered fully assembled from Anemoi’s Yangtze River facility and transported by barge to COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard.
