Dock No. 2 Dock completed at DACKS in China
Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) announced that construction of the first vessel at its newly inaugurated No. 2 Dock at its Chinese joint venture DACKS began on Friday 1 March. The vessel was a 61,000-dwt bulk carrier to be delivered to China''s CMB Financial Leasing.

Grimaldi orders MAN B&W engines for new hybrid RoRos
MAN Energy Solutions has won the order to supply 18 × MAN B&W 9S50ME-C9.6 TIER II-compliant main engines for 9 × 7,800 lane-metre RoRo vessels intended for operation in the Mediterranean Sea. DEBUT FOR FUTURE-PROOF IRISH FERRY
Irish Ferries has realised a major new stage of fleet development with the introduction in January of the German-built, 54,985gt ro-pax ferry W.B.Yeats to Dublin/Holyhead sailings. Currently the largest ferry on the Irish Sea, the vessel will soon be transferred to the line’s service between the Irish capital and Cherbourg.
