EPS to order dual-fuel ammonia gas carrier

The order for the ammonia-fuelled gas carrier was signed by EPS CEO, Cyril Ducau; Quah Ley Hoon, chief executive of MPA; representatives of HHI; and ABS EVP and COO, John McDonald.

Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) have signed an MoU for ocean-going ammonia dual-fuel gas tanker. The vessel will be the first vessel fitted with MAN Energy Solutions G60 two-stroke dual-fuel ammonia engine.
