Matson orders three LNG-fuelled containerships

Matson, Inc. has announced that its subsidiary, Matson Navigation Company, Inc., a leading US carrier in the Pacific, has signed contracts with Philly Shipyard Inc. to build three new 3,600 TEU Aloha Class containerships for an aggregate price of approximately US$1 billion.
