Polish Fleet Builds Anew In China

​Polsteam has awarded a second contract for four 37,000 dwt Lakers to Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Company (DSIC). Previously, the company had ordered a pair of 36,600 dwt units from Jiangsu Yangzijiang (one of which is pictured).

Prominent bulk carrier fleet owner Polska Zegluga Morska (PZM/Polsteam) has booked a further four handysize newbuilds in China, doubling its current investment in tonnage dimensioned and fitted for navigation of the St Lawrence Seaway/Great Lakes system.
