Tersan to acquire Havyard Leirvik

Tersan Shipyard, the Turkish shipbuilder, has agreed a deal to acquire the assets of Havyard Leirvik from Eqva, the Norwegian company formerly known as Havyard.

Eqva has announced that it has agreed a deal to divest its shares in the Havyard Leirvik yard, and its subsidiaries Havyard Leirvik AS and Havyard Leirvik Eiendom AS to Tersan for NOK30m (US$2.7m) in cash.

Tersan confirmed that the acquisition will be completed by the end of the year, subject to regulatory procedures and approvals.
