Sweden's Sjofartsverket trials AI-led emergency call augmentation

Sweden”s sea and air rescue services began live tests of an artificial intelligence-assisted system to monitor emergency (Mayday) calls in the Baltic Sea and around the Swedish coast in late June. The new system uses AI and Machine Learning to assist the rescue leader to identify and monitor emergency calls.
