Honouring and recognising innovative low emissions vessels partnerships in zero emissions race. A shortlist of four projects has now been finalised! The four finalist will present their projects at propulsion & Future Fuels 2021, taking place from 2-4 November.
The Motorship Award covers collaborative projects that address industry-wide challenges, and are also selected for their potential wider applicability. This year every shortlisted project offers significant reductions in GHG emissions, with most offering lower fuel consumption, and lower capital and operating expenditure.
This year’s finalist:
Windship Technology - Zero Emission Bulker Concept Design
WinGD - Intelligent control by exhaust recycling (iCER) – Reducing Methane slip by 50%
Man ES - BW LPG – Worlds first retrofit LPG two stroke engine
UECC - First LNG Battery hybrid PCTCs

As ever, the winning project will be selected by delegates attending The Motorship’s Propulsion & Future Fuels Conference, which will be held in Hamburg on Tuesday 2nd November 2021. The shortlisted nominees will present their projects in a special session held during the event, while the winner will be determined by a vote from conference delegates.
