Havfram returns to CIMC Raffles for second WTIV

Havfram, a Norway-based offshore wind and services company, has ordered a second wind installation jack-up vessel to CIMC Raffles, taking up an option from December 2022.

CIMC Raffles has agreed a contract with NOV for the equipment package and design license for the newbuilding project, which will use GustoMSC’s NG-20000X self-propelled wind turbine installation jack-up vessel design. 

In all, 11 NG-series jack-up vessels are currently under construction at various shipyards worldwide.
