Croatia?s Viktor Lenac has completed repairs to three Sealand D-6 class 1,178 TEU container ships.
The block booking involved hull survey work, repairs to all 28 hatch covers on each vessel, cell guide renewal, anticorrosion treatment to cargo hold tanktops and other general repair work. The first of the trio, Sea Pioneer, was redelivered mid November, Sea Leader left the yard in early December, and work on Maersk Constantza was completed in January.
The drydock work on Maersk Constantza was subcontracted to the Venetian repair yard Carmet, as Viktor Lenac?s own drydocks were fully occupied at the time.
