NewsUAE increases hydrogen ambitions in revised Energy Strategy
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) released a revised Energy Strategy at the beginning of July, earmarking investments of up to US$54 billion into the country’s renewables sector by 2030. Among the projects, the UAE announced that Masdar (the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) plans to increase green hydrogen production to 1.0 million tonnes per year by 2030, and that the state plans to develop two hydrogen production hubs by 2030.

Seaspan Corporation (Seaspan), the containership owner and manager, in collaboration with Hapag-Lloyd, have signed a Conversion Commitment Agreement with MAN PrimeServ.
