    An international consortium including Shell, Kongsberg and DNV announced it will work together to build the world’s first electric offshore Service Operation Vessel (eSOV) on 11 September 2023.     DNV has confirmed that Erma First’s alternative maritime power (AMP) system, BLUE CONNECT, meets the requirements to be categorised as an ‘energy-saving device’ (ESD).
