DNV GL grants Type Approval to Becker Marine Systems battery system
Classification society DNV GL has granted Type Approval to a battery system supplied by Becker Marine Systems. The first orders of the COBRA battery system, which utilises lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) battery cell technology, are due to be delivered later in 2021.
