A subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) has signed long-term charter agreements for six newbuild 174,000cbm LNG carriers with shipowner Mitsui O.S.K. (MOL), according to local social media reports. The six vessels will be built at China’s Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding Group.

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) has announced that it digitised its existing proprietary bunker and lube oil analysis operations in August 2021, and has added remote access and statistical analysis functionality to the results. The company added that it plans to commercialise the cloud-based Bunker Hub analytics system in future.
